Turkey — Europe corridor to Uzbekistan expanded: new Caspian runs

From May 2026 we add weekly Istanbul → Tashkent runs via the Caspian and double the dispatch frequency from Warsaw and Berlin.

May 5, 2026

Demand for Turkey-to-Uzbekistan and Europe-to-Uzbekistan shipping has grown for a second year running: textiles from Istanbul, equipment from Germany, pharma from Poland, furniture from Italy — all moving on regular multimodal runs. From May 2026 we have expanded the corridor and increased dispatch frequency.

What we added from Turkey

  • Istanbul → Tashkent via Caspian — weekly departures (previously twice a month). Route: Istanbul → Georgia → Azerbaijan → Alat → ferry → Türkmenbaşy → Turkmenistan → Uzbekistan. 10–14 days.
  • Istanbul → Samarkand / Bukhara / Fergana — direct delivery now, no Tashkent intermediate unloading.
  • Izmir → Tashkent — new lane, every 14 days for furniture and textiles from the Aegean region.

What we added from Europe

  • Warsaw → Tashkent — twice a week (was once). Convenient for cosmetics, apparel, and small-electronics distributors.
  • Berlin → Tashkent — twice a week. Main categories: equipment, medical devices, automotive parts.
  • Prague → Tashkent — regular every 10 days (was “as accumulated”).
  • Budapest → Tashkent — every 14 days, for pharma and food industry.

Southern corridor as an alternative

Should the northern route via RF face delays, the southern corridor remains active: Berlin → Serbia → Bulgaria → Turkey → Georgia → Caspian → Turkmenistan → Uzbekistan. 16–22 days. Used when border crossings are closed or sanctions risk specific cargo categories.

Documentation

All runs use TIR Carnet or T1 transit declarations — cargo traverses transit countries without customs clearance. On Uzbek entry: HS-coded customs declaration, duties, Uzstandart certificate. EUR.1 certificate of origin (for Europe) grants preferential treatment under the Uzbek agreement.
